  • Policies on Illness

Students should not attend school if they have a temperature of 100 degrees or above, or if they have vomitted and/or have had diarrhea in the past 12 hours.  They must be fever free for 24 hours without the use of analgesics before returning to school.  Parents are encouraged to keep the school informed of the status of the student's health by communication with the school nurse.  Also, any diagnosis of a comminicable disease, such as, but not limited to, Chicken Pox, Pink Eye, Fifth Disease, or Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, should be reported to the clinic.  Students may return to school after receiving proper treatment and have been fever free for 24 hours.
