My goal as the school nurse is to help students maintain
healthy bodies in order to excel in all areas of learning. Please

  • Cold And Flu Season Is Upon Us

    Students should not attend school if they have a temperature of 100 degrees or above, or if they have vomitted and/or have had diarrhea in the past 12 hours.  They must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.  Parents are encouraged to keep the school informed of the status of the student's health by communication with the school nurse.  Also, any diagnosis of a comminicable disease, such as, but not limited to, Chicken Pox, Pink Eye, Fifth Disease, or Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, should be reported to the clinic.  Students may return to school after receiving proper treatment and have been fever free for 24 hours.

  • Medication Information

    Please remember that all medication brought to school must be accompanied by a medication form.  Prescription meds must have a physician form and over the counter meds such as Advil, cough drops, Sudafed etc must have a form also.  Forms may be downloaded off of this website!!  See the forms listed below.  No student may carry medication on them except those designated as emergency rescue meds and those meds must be cleared through the clinic and accompanied by a special form.

  • 2013-2014 Immunization Requirements

    Please make sure your child's immunizations are up-to-date for the new school year.  Any student not having the required vaccines by the first day of school may be excluded from school until an updated record is completed.  The following are the state required immunizations for 7th and 8th grade students:

    3 Hepatitis B
    5 DTaP                                                              
    4 Polio
    2 MMR
    2 Varicella or Dr. verified proof of history of disease
    1 Tdap
    1 Meningococcal
    syringe
