Washington DC Trip
We are currently planning our annual 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C. for the 2017 school year. We will depart the evening of March 17 and return March 21. You can sign up online at worldstrides.com/signup using the trip id# 135450. If you sign up by May 17, 2016 you will earn a $70 discount on the price. Avon Community School Corporation (ACSC) has received a planning grant of $47,558 under Lilly Endowment Inc.’s Comprehensive Counseling Initiative for Indiana K-12 Students. The aim of the Counseling Initiative is to increase significantly the number of K-12 students in Indiana who are emotionally healthy to realize academic success, graduate from high school, obtain valuable postsecondary credentials, certifications and degrees necessary for meaningful employment.
