  • Laptops and the Family Contract

The students are SO EXCITED about receiving their laptops.  They have each been assigned a homework assignment from Mrs. Shayotovich and Mr. Bates.  This assignment is to complete a Family Contract with their parent about using their device at home.  We spent 45 minutes in each classroom reviewing the expectations at school and helping them develop the responsibility of having a device.  We now ask that you please take time to establish your expectations and routines for the device AT HOME.

Feel free to use this PowerPoint to help guide the conversation with your student, there is audio to help start the discussion of each item.

When you are finished, please return a signed copy to your child's teacher.  We will send a copy home for you to refer to throughout the school year as well.  Thank you for your support!

Students were given a copy of the contract, but you can find another here if needed.
